I would like to introduce you this Seminar organized by ELSA Bristol about
Corporate Governance and Employment Law
from 10 to 12 march 2006
This is the description of the course by ELSA Bristol (Uk).
ELSA-Bristol would like to invite law students from all over Europe to the international seminar on Corporate Governance and Employment Law! We will give you a general overview over this law area but also rise very topical issues and compare different models within and outside Europe.
The 1st day of our seminar deals with Employment Law. We will focus on Individual Employee Rights (especially the international view on them), Employee Representation on Company Boards, Disclosure of Information to Employees, Collective Bargaining and Trade Unions. On the 2nd day we will go on with Corporate Governance, comparing UK and USA models and also speaking about the situation in Eastern Europe. On the 3rd and final day we would like to highlight the most topical and controversial issues in this law area in a large plenary discussion with speakers and participants.
International and non-Bristol students will also have the possibility to explore Bristol, one of the most beautiful cities in England. And of course as ELSA is not only about education but also about having fun, every night great social events will be waiting for you to make your day with us perfect!

Music Law Conference
The event will give an introduction in this comprehensive field of law.
The conference will focus on: international music law, event insurance and risk management, general copyright- and peer to peer file transfer, stage right, trademark law, music publishing, music licensing and international jurisdiction.
The deadline to register is the 30 of april.
The fee depends from your membership or not of ELSA, The European Law Students' Association.
