Oltre al dispiacere che provo per quanto avvenuto a New Orleans, provo una senzazione di disprezzo per quanto non sta accadendo in questi giorni. In seguito a questi eventi catastrofici quali terremoti, uragani, alluvioni, ecc., televisioni, telegiornali, giornali, enti più o meno umanitari si organizzano per la raccolta di fondi per aiutare le popolazioni colpite. Qui niente, nulla di nulla: non un cargo, non un "ci dispiace": nulla.
Tra gli Stati Europei, é consuetudine fornire supporto tecnico tramite la Protezione Civile o i corpi militari, piuttosto che fornire fondi. In questo caso non riusciamo ad offrire nemmeno il silenzio per una immane tragedia: si parla di 1000 morti.
Sinceramente non ho parole e forse é meglio così.
